We are energy, boundless and wide,
Moving like waves, like a powerful tide.
Through this circle called life
With all its vastness, struggle, and strife.
Waves so strong come crashing to cleanse,
Entering harbors, where stillness ends.
Ships lie dormant, in slumber deep,
Slowly stirring from quiet sleep.
Waking up
Gently lifting, raising
Heaviliy shaking
Stiring the waters so profound
Gently lifting, starting to rise,
Shaking waters, clearing the skies.
Seagrass swaying from side to side,
As sand floats up blurring the sight.
Currents collide.
That’s when we deepen the breath
And feel the flood, flood is not death
Feel the waves as they penetrate my skin
In transcendence me move to the rim
Let the water carry away
All that is no longer needed
Sensing its gentle touch
Where power and determination are seated
What is meant to go will leave
No space for mercy, yet space for grief
Space for nothing but love to receive
The ebbs and flows of life relentlessly flowing on
Through us on this pathway we ship and roam
From wave to wave on our ways home.
Bringing emptiness bringing flood
flowing like water, flowing like blood
through this circle called life
with all its vastness, all that is meant to survive.
